Our literary enrichment books
5-6 grade or up : Poetry for Beginners (published) 7-8 grade or up: Intermediate Poetry (published) high school: Advanced Poetry (written and in the proofing stages)
high school. Shakespeare (work in progress)
are recommended but optional enrichment texts.
You may choose to use our poetry and Shakespeare books without using the rest of the CW curriculum, or you may choose to use our poetry books as 12 week yearly enrichment work.
Our enrichment materials are writing curricula, which teach both essay writing as well as poetry and fiction narrative writing.

Will there be an A & B for these, or just one book? Will it be reasonable to expect 10th-12th graders to complete Advanced Poetry in one year? How about Shakespeare?

There will be one core book and one student guide for this. Both the core and the student guide are already written. They are being tested in our "student labs" right now.
It can be done in two twelve week or ten week sessions as a supplement to your other writing curriculum.
CW Shakespeare is in its outlining stages now, but it will also be a 20 week study or so, that can be divided into two separate sessions. Its aims will be on writing fiction and will draw not just on Shakespeare but also on other English great authors. It will be all fiction, since the poetry is covered in our three volume poetry series.
