I need some help here. We did Aesop A and then Writing Tales 2. Now we're back with Homer but my question is how did Aesop B describe outlining? Was there a specific way this was to be done? I think we missed something...
Thanks, Shannon

There wasn't and isn't much to outlining, really.
In Aesop B, outlining is just going sentence by sentence, finding a couple of key words for each sentence, then onto the next. That is for stories that are about fifty words or so total.
For longer stories of about two hundred words, you choose two to four words for every two to four sentences and outline the story that way.
The real outlining skills are taught in Homer where you learn hierarchical outlining with indents and sub points. There you will also do summary sentence outlining.
Does that answer your question? If not, do let me know and I will try again.
