We started CW-Poetry today and I noticed that each line of the poem “Birthdays” is centered. Is this the way they should try to copy it?
Thanks, Kendall

Kendall,
If my students are typing the poem on a computer (theirs or one they are copying) I require centering.
If my students are doing copybook, I don't require centering. I simply require that the start at the far left side of the line and copy ONE line onto one line.
I think it is very difficult for a student to center a copybook poem. His handwriting is usually not real steady and it is very hard for him to gauge how much line space each line with take.
