Continuing grammar studies during CW Poetry?

We are starting CW Poetry for Beginners next week, between Homer A and B. What do you typically do about your grammar studies while doing poetry? We've been working through Harvey's alongside Homer, and covering some grammar as part of our Latin studies. I was thinking of working a bit in a grammar/diagramming book I have called "Rex Barks" just to keep some grammar going. Just curious about what others have done.

In our household, we pull grammar into Poetry by diagramming or parsing bits and pieces of poems. Using the time to dip into another grammar book for reinforcement or a fresh angle is also a good idea.
