I plan to use Harvey's Grammar with three of my children this fall and I would like advice on where to dive in. 9yo son is about a third of the way through Abeka Language A (fourth grade), 11 yo son has completed Language B (fifth grade) and 13yo daughter has completed Grammar and Composition 1 (seventh grade).
Should I begin at the beginning of Elementary Grammar for my boys and Revised for my daughter? Any input is appreciated!
Thanks so much, Melissa

I would begin at the beginning. Harvey is a new format, a new style, and there are definitions and concepts even at the easy beginning lessons which are worth reviewing. It gets more difficult soon enough, so it's worth laying the right ground work.

Thanks Lene. Your advice confirmed what I was thinking. Just to clarify, did you mean that should start 13 yo dd at the beginning of Elementary Grammar as well and just move through it quicker?
Thanks, Melissa

I would pull a 13 yo through the Revised, but if you don't have that one, pull her through Harvey's elementary... there is much that is the same i n both volumes which you will not encounter in Abeka at all.
Yes, she should go faster and she should focus on the things she has not learned elsewhere.
