My son will be reading about demonstrative pronouns in his R & S 6th book next week.
that(those), this(these)
Do you know where in Harvey's the following use of "that" or "this" is dealt with?
That is my house. This is my car.
I found the use of that as a relative pronoun and as an adjective in Harvey's but am not finding this. I haven't read either Harvey's book cover to cover so I'm sure it is somewhere. I'm hoping someone can help. I'm trying to decide how to deal with this topic. Should I add a new class of pronouns to Harvey's list?
Thanks in advance, Kendall

Harvey has "this" and "that" as definitive adjectives. They are found on page 75 in Harvey's Elementary under pronomial demonstrative adjectives section 78.1.1
