I have a fourth grader with strong grammar, spelling, and reading skills. She already knows quite a bit of grammar and has done a fair share of diagramming using R&S third grade English. She has done a few narrations using Imitations in Writing, but not many. I was wondering whether Aesop B would have much to offer her, but was afraid that Homer would be a bit too challenging. I certainly don't want to frustrate her by making writing too difficult. Any suggestions? Thank you so much. Julie

I would start her in Homer A, going slowly if you find her to be challenged.
You can always repeat the early writing projects by choosing fables and stories of your own.
Worst scenario, if you find Homer A totally beyond her, buy Aesop B. You will need Homer A later anyways.
Just a few ideas, but it sounds to me like she should be able to do Homer A. Just set the pace so you don't overwhelm her. You have scads of time.
