Hello, Since Aesop A only covers 18 weeks (but is considered a year long course), what does one do in the "off" weeks? It seems like you'd either skip a week between each Aesop lesson, or get done in half a year. Do you fill in the "off" weeks with more grammar? I'm guessing not, since another grammar program isn't recommended at this level. I think I am missing something...can someone help me with this? Same question with Aesop B. Thanks! Donna

We usually recommend that folks apply the writing to other areas. We have a "take your art with you" section in the back of the books, that encourages you to have your kids write about a book they read, report a science phenomenon, write about a character in history or such.
Most kids in Aesop A are also doing phonics and spelling still, and so we didn't want to load everyone down with too much language arts.
