I have read many posts but I am now confused- my dd (11) will be a 6th grader next fall and I am planning on starting CW. She is a very advanced reader and has good writing skills also, plus we have done various grammar programs so I believe she has a good foundation. I was ready to place her in Homer A, but I just read a post that I should start her in Aesop B so I can learn the program first. I will also be starting a 3rd grader in Aesop A. Any suggestions on what to do with my 6th grader? Thanks! Lisa

Lisa,
It really depends on you. How comfortable are you with new curriculum? Do you take a while to switch gears to get into it? Do you mind reading through the instructions for a day to figure it out, or do you just want something you can pick up and use in 10 minutes.
Homer A should be doable for your 6th grader, definitely. Just expect to take a Saturday afternoon to orient yourself on the daily routines.
