Hello,
I was wondering if Spell to Write & Read with the Primer would be overkill for my almost 8yo. I have not learned how to use the SWR yet but it looked time intensive. I will also start her in Prima Latina this year.
I have two high schoolers that I am needing to help (one more than the other) in Latin, some great books readings and some CW so I see myself being stretched. I am trying to be more realistic this next year regarding our time.
Thank you so much for any advice, Tamara

Tamara,
SWR is challenging and has a bit of a learning curve, but it is a wonderful program and well worth the time investment needed. Of course, you can always look for another spelling program, but please do realize that the Primers are not intended to replace your stand-alone spelling and/or phonics instruction. If you do a spelling program, Primer, math, and Latin, that may be all you need.
Hope this is helpful.
