Hi,
I have a dd in 8th grade, and I am wondering where to place her. I would really like her to begin Maxim in 9th, so I would like to just hit the high points in Homer that she would need to progress through the program. I have looked through the Homer Core book, and I know she will not have a problem with the grammar. I am thinking that if I put her in Older Beginners, I can hit what I feel that she needs and skip over some? Is this possible? What are your recommendations?
I also have a ds in 6th. Would you also place him in Older Beginners and just take it a little slower?
Thanks!

Older Beginners definitely sounds like a good starting point for your daughter. If your son doesn't have any definite weaknesses, you could use the Older Beginners book at a slower pace, parking where more practice or time to absorb a concept is needed. Carolyn
