This may be a silly question , but throughout Harvey's Elementary Grammar I see the following notation: Rem., and then some information. The first occurance is at the bottom of page 6, THE NOUN. I'm thinking "Rem." must be an abbreviation for something ("remember"?)...any ideas? Thanks, Susan

Thanks! There will be surely be someone in my class who would ask what it means, and it will be nice to have an answer!! There are enough times that I have to say, "I don't know..."
