We are starting Homer and have dumped our previous grammar program (Voyages in English) in favor of Harvey's, since you have it all so nicely coordinated! I also have a copy of Mary Daly's Diagramming but am unsure how to add it into the schedule. Do you usually just work a bit on Mary Daly along with Harvey's during your grammar lessons? The girls like Harvey and are very proud of their grammar notebooks; they didn't like Mary Daly too much last year when I tried to use it with CW-Aesop, and I ended up abandoning it. I guess if I had a better feel about how much to use it would help.
I love the program and really appreciate these message boards!

Dear Pam,
Thanks for your kind words!
I don't think you will find it necessary to do Mary Daly's program alongside Homer and Harveys. We integrated it into the Aesop B workbook as an optional enrichment for advanced students. But in Homer, the diagramming is explained thoroughly in the Core Manual, so Daly would probably be repetitious. You may find the Daly book helpful as a reference, or if there is a particular diagramming skill that your girls find difficult.
I hope this clears things up.
In grace, Kathy

Dear Lene,
Thanks! That's a relief not to have to coordinate Mary Daly into Homer because it's enough for us to handle as is.
